2001 Mid-Continent Conference Player of the Year in women's soccer. Kirkhuff-Steele helped lead ORU to a pair of conference titles and a 16-3 record in conference play during her career. She set ORU career records with 30 goals, 77 points, 83 matches played, 212 shots, and 11 game-winning goals. She also finished her career second in Mid-Con history in goals and points. Kirkhuff-Steele was a two-time, First Team All-Conference selection and made All-tournament four years in a row.
