Oral Roberts University

Served two stints as ORU's Athletic Director during his 17 years with the University. During his first term, ORU captured seven straight Midwestern Collegiate Conference All Sports trophies and was named one of the nation's Top 30 athletic programs. At ORU, Brooksserved as tournament director for the NCAA basketball and baseball regionals. He was a member of the NCAA Men's Basketball Committee and was the first president of the Midwestern Collegiate Conference. Brooks also is credited with leading ORU back to Division One athletics from the NAIA in the early 1990's.
