WACO, Texa. – After splitting the first eight games of the season, the Oral Roberts Baseball team will venture down south to take on Baylor for the first road-series of 2024.

Inside the Series
• Friday's game marks the 48th meeting all-time between the two clubs.

• The Golden Eagles won their last series against the Bears, 2-1, back in February of 2020.

• ORU is 21-26 all-time against their Big 12 foe.

• The Golden Eagles enter the matchup fresh off a narrow 3-1 loss to Wichita State on Wednesday

• Jakob Hall, Brooks Fowler, and Ryan Carmack are projected to be this weekend's starters. Last series the trio went 3-0 and averaged a 3.50 ERA.

• Kyle Booker is currently on a hot-streak for the Golden Eagles. The outfielder will step to the plate on Friday with three-consecutive multi-hit games.

• This trip will mark as a homecoming for Elijah Rodriguez who played just 20 minutes South of Baylor Ballpark at Midway High School where he was All-district selection playing for coach Eddie Cornblum.

Scouting the Opponent
• The Bears enter the series on a four game losing-streak, most recently dropping a midweek game at home to Abilene Christian

• Keep an eye out for Enzo Apodaca, the outfielder leads the Bears with a .387 batting average, is currently on a seven-game hitting-streak and has droven in a team-high eight RBI's.

• The Golden Eagles will need another stellar performance from their starting rotation as 26 of BU's 35 runs so far this season have been scored in the first four innings.
