• Tuesday's midweek marks the 37th meeting all-time and first since 2018 between the Golden Eagles and Cornhuskers.

• RHP Archambo will get the nod on the mound for the Golden Eagles Tuesday night.
• ORU was selected as the unanimous favorite to retain their regular-season crown in the 2022 Summit League Preseason Coaches' poll, garnering 36 points and all six of the possible first-place votes they could attain.
• Coffey earned plenty of preseason accolades as the junior was selected as the Summit League Preseason Pitcher of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA. The Goleta, California, native also garnered Preseason All-American honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Collegiate Baseball.Â
Joshua Cox was selected as the Summit League Player of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA.Â
Brooks Fowler garnered Preseason Summit League Freshman of the Year honors from D1 Baseball.
Scouting the Opponent
• Nebraska enters the midweek following a series loss on the road at Illinois over the weekend. In their last 10 contests, the Cornhuskers are 4-6.
• Max Anderson leads the offensive charge for Nebraska as the sophomore has launched a team-best eight homers and driven in 37 RBIs. The infielder also holds a .285 batting average and has swiped six bags.
• On the year, Nebraska is 6-4 in midweek action.
• The Cornhuskers were picked to win the Big 10 Conference in the preseason coaches poll but currently sit 10th in league play.
