TULSA, Okla. – After a thrilling walk-off win in their home opener Tuesday, the Oral Roberts baseball team continues their homestand with a two-game set against the Billikens of Saint Louis University February 27-28. First pitch for Sunday's game is set for 4 p.m., while Monday's contest is scheduled for 2 p.m.

• The Golden Eagles are fresh off a 6-5 walk-off win in their home opener against Missouri State, Tuesday. Redshirt junior
Mac McCroskey won it for ORU with an RBI single down the right field line and finished the day 2-for-4 with four RBIs.
Evan Kowalski improved to 2-0 on the year, picking up the win in relief. The junior tossed a scoreless inning and registered two strikeouts.Â
• Eight different pitchers entered the contest for the Golden Eagles with only
Brett Gregory tossing more than two innings (2.1).
Joshua Cox tallied three hits, while
Jackson Loftin and
AJ Archambo registered two apiece to round out the offense. The two hits were a career-high for Archambo.Â
• On the season, McCroskey leads the way offensively with a .533 batting average, ranking third in the Summit League, and a team-best four RBIs. The Springdale, Arkansas, native has registered multiple hits in three of the four games.Â
• Through four games this season, the Golden Eagles pitching staff has registered a Summit League-best 2.83 ERA. Eight ORU players have yet to allow an earned run on the season, led by
Cade Denton and Kowalski who have combined to throw 7.1 scoreless innings.
• ORU was selected as the unanimous favorite to retain their regular season crown in the 2022 Summit League Preseason Coaches' poll, garnering 36 points and all six of the possible first-place votes they could attain.
• Junior pitcherÂ
Isaac Coffey earned plenty of preseason accolades as the junior was selected as the Summit League Preseason Pitcher of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA. The Goleta, California, native also garnered Preseason All-American honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and Collegiate Baseball. OutfielderÂ
Joshua Cox was selected as the Summit League Player of the Year by both D1 Baseball and Perfect Game USA.Â
Brooks Fowler garnered Preseason Summit League Freshman of the Year honors from D1 Baseball.
Inside the Series: Saint Louis
• Sunday's contest marks the 32nd meeting all-time between the Billikens and Golden Eagles with ORU holding a 26-5 advantage in the series. After Saint Louis won the initial matchup on May 11, 1973, ORU reeled off 24 straight wins in the series until the Billikens broke the streak in 2013. Since 2013, Saint Louis holds a 4-2 edge against the Golden Eagles.Â
• At J.L. Johnson Stadium, ORU holds an 18-2 advantage against the Billikens but have lost two of three meetings in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Head Coach
Ryan Folmar is 2-4 all-time against the Billikens and will be opposed by Saint Louis Head Coach Darin Hendrickson, who is 4-2 against the Golden Eagles and is in his 15th season.
• Last season, ORU took the series opener on the road at Saint Louis but dropped the remainder two games of the set. This is the only meeting this season between the two clubs.
