LAWRENCE, KS - Oral Roberts places first and second in the men's and women's Bob Timmons Rim Rock Classic to kick off the 2025 season.

The Golden Eagle men took the top three individual placements, led by
Abraham Chelangam, who won with a time of 17:54.11.
Andrew Smithwick placed second at 18:17.00, and
Artwell Magake rounded out the trio with a time of 18:26.42. Out of 71 racers, eight Golden Eagles placed in the top 30.
The men as a program took home first place with 29 points, outlasting hosting Kansas (31 points) by two. Park U., Haskell, Baker, and Kansas City place three through six.
In the women's race, the Golden Eagles had two top 10 finishers with
Ossly Murambidzi running an 18:27.82, finishing fourth, and
Madeline Cabana finishing right behind her at 18:32.36.
ORU placed second overall out posting 53 points, as the hosting Jayhawks took home first with 19 points. Kansas City, MidAmerican Nazarene, Baker, Park U., and Haskell rounded out the field of seven.

th in Stillwater, Oklahoma, at the Cowboy Jamboree hosted by Oklahoma State University.
