LAWRENCE, KS - The Oral Roberts University Golden Eagles cross country program set off to Lawrence, Kansas, to race in the Bob Timmons Rim Rock Classic meet hosted by the University of Kansas on Saturday morning.
In 2024, the Oral Roberts men finished second overall, trailing only the hosting Jayhawks, posting a score of 60. Returner, redshirt junior
Abraham Chelangam, placed first individually in the men's 6k race with a time of 17:45.7. The women placed third as a program with 59 points, with then sophomore Ossly Murmabidzi possessing the best individual placement at sixth with a time of 18:46.7.
Both Chelangam and Murambidzi join Graduate Student
Zoie Kiddy and Junior transfer Sibonokuhle Thwaba as athletes to watch this season.
