TULSA, OKLA. – The Oral Roberts baseball team struggled at the plate as Dallas Baptist evened the series with a 6-1 win on Saturday afternoon.
 
Despite his second loss, right-handed starter Nathan Love pitched 5.0 innings of one-run baseball, allowing just two hits, four walks, and striking out one.
 
The lone run off of Love came in the second inning with an RBI single into center field to open the scoring and DBU would never look back.
 
The game remained at a stalemate offensively with no runs coming from the second until the top of the seventh when the Patriots scored two unearned runs on a pair of Golden Eagle errors. 
 
Two more came across for Dallas Baptist in the eighth after another RBI single to extend the lead to six.  ORU came back with one run in the bottom half as Jack Schark was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded allowing Makani Tanaka to score.
 
The Golden Eagles came up empty in the ninth and fell to Dallas Baptist in game two by a final of 6-1.
