Oral Roberts University

Jared Spencer MAT, LAT, ATC, CSCS joined the Oral Roberts Athletic Department as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July of 2023. Spencer is responsible for the coverage of the Golden Eagle volleyball and cross country/track and field programs.

Prior to joining the ORU staff, Spencer earned his Master's of Athletic Training from Oklahoma State. During his time at OSU, Spencer spent time in his clinical rotations with Bixby High School, Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma Physical Therapy, Oklahoma State Hospital, Oklahoma Baptist University and Orlando City Soccer Club. At each rotation, Spencer was responsible for managing the rehabilitation for athletes with acute and long-term injuries.

Spencer has also worked at the Big 12 Conference Wrestling Championships and the USA Junior Wrestling Championships. 

Spencer graduated from Randall University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science. While at Randall, Spencer was a four-year member of the soccer team and also assisted with the sports medicine staff. He also worked part-time at OSSPT, a sports physical therapy clinic, and gained experience working with athletes at all levels. 

Spencer and his wife Sarah, a Worship Leader at Life Church, reside in Tulsa.
