The Golden Eagles got the scoring started in the third inning as Wailele Kane-Yates hit a sacrifice fly to left field, driving in Jack Schark, who led the inning off by getting hit by a pitch.

Later in the frame, the second half of the Hawaiian duo and Pre-Season All-Summit League First Team recipient Makani Tanaka would get walked to drive in Martell Davis.

The Golden Eagle bullpen threw four innings of relief, starting with 3.0 quality frames from Jared Ure. The red-shirt senior gave up four hits and struck out three in a scoreless outing. Conner Floyd followed him up and shut the door in the ninth, surrendering an unearned run and striking out one, earning his first save of 2025.
