TULSA, Okla. – A brace by Samantha Guzman in the final three minutes of play helped the Oral Roberts women's soccer earn a result against North Dakota Thursday night in Tulsa.

North Dakota opened the scoring early in the first half. The Fighting Hawks struck first in the 13th minute with a goal from Amelia Loeffler. ORU pushed back and applied heavy offensive pressure on UND. The Golden Eagles registered 12 first-half shots but could not find the back of the net. The Fighting Hawks carried their one-goal lead into the break.

The second half saw more of the same as ORU earned great looks on goal but could not put one past the UND keeper. In the 80th minute, Milan Cordone scored for the Fighting Hawks and put the visiting team up by two. Facing a late two-goal deficit, the Golden Eagles rallied and continued their attack. In the 87th minute, Julia Thasaphong launched a right-to-left cross that found the outstretched foot of Guzman, who drilled the ball into the upper left corner. Less than two minutes later, North Dakota was called for a handball in the box. In the 89th minute, Guzman stepped up and knocked in the penalty kick to even the score at 2-2. The match ended in a tie as ORU earned its second draw of the season.
