TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball team made picked up a huge win at J.L. Johnson Stadium as they locked down #22 Oklahoma's lineup that featured six players batting well above .300 on the year.

After his scheduled start on Sunday getting canceled, Joshua Caravalho would be utilized as the Golden Eagles' opener. The Bay Area native would set the tone for one of the best collective pitching performances by ORU's staff this season as he tossed three innings of one-hit ball.

Ryan Carmack and Trent Martin would pick up where Caravalho left off as they blanked the Sooners in back-to-back innings.

Meanwhile in the fourth inning, the Golden Eagles would open the scoring, plating two runs courtesy of a 100 mph single off the bat of Drew Stahl and a RBI sacrifice bunt by Cameron LaLiberte.

ORU then extended the lead to three after Holden Breeze barreled a double to the left field line in fifth.

Oklahoma was able to get a run across in the sixth but that would be the only damage the Sooners could inflict as Caleb Issacs and Conner Floyd would set the table for a Dalton Patten save to seal the victory.

- ORU would tie their season low allowing only striking out three times.
- Alex Rodgers extends his hitting streak to double-digits.

-  Head Coach Ryan Folmar now holds a 22-9 record at J.L. Johnson Stadium against Power 5 opponents.
-   Elijah Rodriguez and Breeze now have 20 multi-hit games on the season.
-  Patten picked up his 10th career save.
