TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball hosted the Bears of Missouri State for game two of their season series.
Missouri State would quickly get out to a two-run lead as they connected on two home runs off the first three pitches of the game.
In the ensuing bottom half of the inning, Kyle Booker immediately got the Golden Eagles on the board with a sacrifice fly, however the Bears tacked on three more runs over the next two frames.
Oral Roberts would be held at bay until the sixth when Drew Stahl poked a single to left center scoring two runs and giving ORU new life headed into the seventh.
The Bears respond to the pressure applied by the Golden Eagles by outscoring the home team 7-1 over the final three innings to take the 12-4 win over ORU.
