TULSA, Okla.– The Oral Roberts baseball team's late rally came up short as they fell to NDSU in game two of their weekend series.
The Bison would get off to a hot start scoring five unanswered runs to start off the game before
Kyle Booker got the Golden Eagles on the board with a single to left field in the bottom of the third.
North Dakota State would tack on three more runs in the sixth and looked poised for a blowout victory until an
Alex Rodgers single down the line that scored
Drew Stahl and
Kyle Booker. Then a
Cameron LaLiberte double to left field would cut the deficit to three putting ORU within striking distance.
Unfortunately NDSU was able to limit the damage and escape the ninth with a 8-5 victory.
