LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – AJ Archambo and Caleb Denny both launched a grand slam and the Oral Roberts baseball team picked up their third straight win Wednesday afternoon as they run-ruled the Trojans of Little Rock, 18-3, in seven innings.

Archambo homered twice and drove in a career-high six runs, while Denny added five RBIs in the victory. On the mound, Reed Ronan picked up his first career win.

With ORU already up 2-0 in the first, Archambo broke the game wide open with a grand slam over the left-field wall with two outs in the frame. The homer was the first of Archambo's career.

Little Rock got two runs back in the bottom half of the frame to make it 6-2, but that would be as close as they would get.

After Jackson Loftin scored on a wild pitch in the third, the Golden Eagles plated four runs in the fourth to extend their lead to 11-2. Loftin and Alec Jones registered RBIs in the frame, while a throwing error by the pitcher accounted for the other two runs.

In the sixth, Holden Breeze delivered with the bases-loaded, bringing home Jones on an RBI single that deflected off the pitcher to push the lead to 12-2. Denny, the ensuing batter, then blasted his second grand slam of the season to clear the bases and give ORU a 16-2 lead. Three batters later, Archambo went yard again. A two-run blast by the senior made the score 18-2 in favor of ORU.

A solo homer by the Trojans in the sixth made the final tally 18-3, Golden Eagles.
