TULSA, Okla. –  The Oral Roberts baseball team capped off their home slate with a 10-0 win on Sunday afternoon. Senior Blake Hall and Jordan Wiley connected on a pair of back-to-back jacks to end the game in the seventh inning.

The game remained scoreless until ORU got on the board in the fourth inning. Evan Kowalski twirled a gem for the Golden Eagles, matching his career-high in strikeouts through two innings. When the dust settled, Kowalski had set a new career-best with eight strikeouts in 6.0 innings of work.

ORU scored in each of the final four innings to put the game away. Caleb Denny got the Golden Eagles going with a single through the right side to score Joshua Cox. In the fifth inning, Anthony Martinez scored Alec Jones on a sacrifice fly to center field.

In the sixth, Jones ripped his second double of the day to score Wiley and push the ORU lead to three.

The Golden Eagles put up seven runs in the seventh to secure the run-rule victory. Martinez opened the inning with a double before scoring on a two-run single by Jake McMurray. A pair of walks by Ryan Cash and Sevensky loaded the bases for Blake Hall. On a 2-1 pitch, Hall lodged a ball into the right field foul pole for a grand slam.

Three pitches later, Wiley launched a walk-off home run over the right-center field wall and secured the series victory for the Golden Eagles.
