ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Oral Roberts baseball team wrapped up a stretch of 10 road contests in 11 games with a 4-1 loss to Saint Louis on Sunday.
With two outs in the seventh inning, Missouri State drew a hit batsman and a walk, before capitalizing on it with a three-run home run to left field.
Saint Louis got on the board in the second inning and added another run in the third to take a 2-0 lead. The two teams proceeded to trade scoreless frames until the seventh inning.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Billikens added a pair of runs to push their lead to four runs.
Brody Gibson drove in
Hunter Swift to get Oral Roberts on the board in the ninth inning, but that was all the offense the Golden Eagles could muster.
