FARGO, N.D.  – As the Summit League season opened, the Oral Roberts women's soccer team (3-6-1, 0-1 Summit) fell on the road to the North Dakota State Bison (1-6-1, 1-0 Summit) by a score of 3-2.

North Dakota State jumped out to an early 2-0 lead with goals in the 17th and 19th minutes, both coming off the left foot of Olivia Lovick.

Samantha See cut the deficit in half in the 24th minute when launched a nearly impossible shot from the edge of the penalty, about three feet from the end line. See's goal was her third of the season and earned her ninth and tenth points of the season.

Less than two minutes later, the Bison struck again to push the lead back to two. The score would remain 3-1 through the remainder of the first half.

The lone goal of the second half was scored on a penalty kick by Pamela Caballeros, her sixth of the season. Caballeros swung the momentum into ORU's direction but the Golden Eagles were unable to capitalize, eventually falling 3-2 in Fargo.
