The Oral Roberts University volleyball team dropped its final
match of the season 3-0 at the University of Arkansas. The game
scores were 30-20, 30-24, 30-11.
With the loss, ORU fell to 21-14, while Arkansas climbed to
26-6.
Arkansas, who leads the Southeastern Conference in blocks, put up a
wall at the net rejecting a school-record 20 ORU attack attempts
compared to just four by the Golden Eagles.
Currently boasting the NCAA's sixth-best dig total, junior outside
hitter Becky Dreher posted a double-double of 16 digs and ten
kills. Freshman outside hitter Ori Zuzic also contributed ten
kills. Freshman setter Maura Cicala tossed up 28 assists.
Sara Kincaid led Arkansas with a school-record 11 blocks. Arkansas
also equaled a school record in total team blocks. Denitza Koleva
led the Lady' Backs with 14 kills while committing just one
error.
