Dria Hampton was hired as an Assistant Coach in March 2025.

Her energy, expertise, and commitment to servant leadership align perfectly with the qualities we sought in this hire, and we are confident she will inspire and guide our young athletes.

Hampton had an impressive playing career that began at the youth level with Edmond Soccer Club, where she won multiple state championships and reached the national finals twice. She was also a member of the U.S. Youth National Team from 2004 to 2010, competing at various age levels and representing the United States in the Olympic Development Program. At the collegiate level, she played for the University of Oklahoma from 2009 to 2011, serving as team captain and earning All-Big 12 honors before transferring to Florida State University in 2012, where she helped the team reach the NCAA National Semi-Finals. Additionally, she played in the Women's Premier Soccer League for Oklahoma City FC for over a decade, earning accolades such as Big Sky Player of the Year and multiple all-conference selections while serving as team captain for several years.
 
As a coach, Dria Hampton has built an extensive career at various levels, demonstrating leadership and success. She has been the Women's Assistant Coach at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma since 2015, contributing to multiple tournament championships and national tournament appearances. She has also coached club soccer for Oklahoma Energy Football Club, where she was named OSA Girls Coach of the Year in 2017 and OSA Competitive Coach of the Year for boys in 2022. Her experience extends to high school coaching, where she helped Deer Creek High School win a state championship in 2022 and led Chickasha High School to a state semi-finalist finish in 2024 as a co-head coach. Additionally, she has coached in the Women's Premier Soccer League and is currently the Assistant Director of Coaching at Midwest City Soccer Club, further solidifying her influence in the sport.

"I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of this incredible program. A heartfelt thank you to the players, coaching staff, and support staff for their warm welcome and for making my transition so smooth. The seamless integration speaks volumes about the strong, positive culture that has been built here.
