TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball program and Head Coach Kory Barnett have announced the addition of transfer redshirt junior guard Amire Robinson to the 2026-27 roster.

"Amire is wired to win. Coming from a well-coached winning program, he understands what it takes to win at a high level," said Coach Barnett. "He brings elite passion, a genuine love for the game, and his energy and voice will immediately elevate our team. His shooting, decision-making, and competitive edge make him a true difference-maker."

From Akron, Ohio, Robinson transfers to the Golden Eagles from Nevada, where he spent the last three seasons.

As a redshirt sophomore, he played in 36 games, averaging 2.7 points in 9.6 minutes per game. He scored a career-high 11 points, going 3-for-4 from beyond the arc at Washington State, grabbed six rebounds against Louisiana Tech and tallied three assists against San Diego State and Air Force.

Robinson spent the last two years of his high school career competing for Buchtel High School, leading the team to their first-ever OHSAA State Championship and a 23-6 record. In his junior season, he helped Buchtel to a 20-6 record and a perfect 9-0 record in conference play. He also played for the 2023 Indiana Elite program on the AAU Circuit, where he helped his team to an undefeated season and an Adidas 3SSB Championship at the 16U level.

He is the son of Stew and Tracy Robinson and has two older brothers, Mekhi and Isaia, along with an older sister, Amani.
