TULSA, Okla. - Oral Roberts track and field star freshman Jordan Wenger has qualified for the NCAA West First Round, it was announced Thursday. Wenger will compete in the men's high jump.

The NCAA West First Round will take place in College Station, Texas (hosted by Texas A&M) on May 28-31. Each individual event will consist of 48 competitors with the top 12 advancing to the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Wenger qualified for the NCAA West First Round after a stellar performance in the Summit League Outdoor Track and Field Championship. Wenger was crowned Summit League Champion in the High Jump, clearing a personal-best 2.11m (6-11.00).

All events of the NCAA West First Round will be streamed on ESPN+.
