TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's tennis team kicked off their 2025 conference slate on the road, falling to the Mavericks and Fighting Hawks before coming up short in a hard-fought battle at home against the Bulldogs.

The pair of Ricardo Filho and Parv Nage went 2-1 to open Summit League play, downing North Dakota's Kuoa/Zgraggen, 6-2 and Drake's Ecklund/Johnson, 6-1. Despite securing the doubles point in two of the three matches, the Golden Eagles couldn't take advantage of their early leads.
 
In singles play, Aaron Brewer won two of his three matches, taking down Omaha's Christian Trevey, 1-6, 6-4, [10-7] and Drake's Logan Tomovski, 6-2, 6-0.
