TULSA, Okla. – The Golden Eagles picked up their 10
th win at the Mabee Center this season, topping the Omaha Mavericks 95-57. Their win tonight marked back-to-back 10+ win seasons at the Mabee for the first time since the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons.

Jalei Oglesby and
Taleyah Jones were home cookin', scoring 26 and 24 points on the night, respectively. Oglesby shot an incredible 13-18 from the field, grabbing six rebounds in the process. Jones shot 4-9 from beyond the arc and 8-15 from the field.
Ruthie Udoumoh was the only other Golden Eagle in double-figures, scoring 11 points on 5-7 shooting to go along with eight boards. Udoumoh also surpassed 1,000 points at ORU, making her the 23
rd one-thousand-point (at ORU) scorer in program history.

Two early layups from
Ruthie Udoumoh and
Taleyah Jones kicked off the night for ORU before
Makyra Tramble hit a three to put the Golden Eagles up 7-2 (7:16). With 5:39 left to play in the first, Udoumoh made the layup that put her over the 1,000-point mark as a Golden Eagle. Shooting 12-21 from the field in the first quarter allowed ORU to go on a 14-4 run in the final 5:26 of quarter number one.
A 19-9 quarter for the Golden Eagles started with
Jalei Oglesby knocking down consecutive jumpers. From 6:21 to 3:47 ORU was held scoreless before
Makyra Tramble made a three followed by back-to-back triples from
Emily Robinson to put ORU up 42-18. Oglesby made one final jump shot before the Golden Eagles headed to the locker room with a 27-point advantage at the break (45-18).

The Mavericks came out firing in the third quarter, shooting a lights-out 11-14 (78.6%) from the field while outrebounding the Golden Eagles 8-3. Despite scoring 22 points in the quarter, Omaha was unstoppable, outscoring ORU 25-22 in the third.

The Golden Eagles held a 67-43 lead heading into the fourth, but a game-high 28-point quarter led them to victory.
Taleyah Jones and
Jalei Oglesby combined for 12 straight points in the first 4:29 of the quarter, before
Ruthie Udoumoh knocked down a layup.
Mary Carden made a layup while
Alayna Kraus made four straight free throws to seal the game.
