Bears vs Golden Eagles
- ORU currently leads the all-time series 11-9-2, and are 3-1-1 against UCA since 2019.
- In last year's matchup against Central Arkansas, Luis Flores netted a hat-trick as ORU would run away with a 4-1 win.
- The Golden Eagles have not lost on the road to the Bears since October 31, 2017.
Scouting UCA
- The Bears are bringing a multitude of experience back for the 2024 campaign, including First Team All-ASUN forward Pietro Fontana. With the most goals by a Bear in five years, Fontana had 12 goals a season ago, and enters his junior season with 14 career scores. He will be joined in the attack by Devonte Richards, who had three goals and five assists, as well as Sohma Ichikawa, who led the Bears with six assists..
- Defensively, Central Arkansas returns a pair of defenders who logged a ton of minutes along the back line. Elijah Bishop, now a sophomore, led the team with 1,502 minutes of action last season. Josh Baros also returns to assist the defense after putting in 1,259 minutes on the pitch. In goal, Javier Ramirez and Connor Wachtel split last season between the posts, making 73 saves between the pair.with two goals and an assist, while Brown earned a Freshman of the Week nod after notching his first collegiate assist to go with 73 shutout minutes in defense.

- Omar Mora is currently sixth in the NCAA for Total Points (10) and fourth on the Total Goals leaderboard (5).
- Mora enter the matchup as the reigning Offensive Peak Performer of the Week after tallying three goals in two games including his second brace of the season against #24 UCSB.

- Joao Mesquita picked up his second career win against #24 UCSB on Sunday.
- His 11 saves against Cal Poly were the most by an ORU keeper in a game since Miles Motakef's 12 saves against Eastern Illinois in 2018.
- The senior keeper currently leads the Summit League in Goals Against Average (.948) and Save Percentage (.864).

Running it Back
- Head Coach Ryan Bush enters the season 8 wins shy of hitting the century mark of career wins at ORU (92-69-25)
- Luis Flores enters the year listed as one of United Soccer Coaches' 2024 NCAA Division I Men's Players to Watch after a 2023 campaign that saw him break ORU single-season goals scored record (15).
- Flores and Schinieder Mimy were selected to the Summit League Preseason Players to Watch list. This is the second consecutive Player to Watch honor for Mimy and the first for Flores.
- At the end of this past summer, Brian McCurdy was promoted to Associate Head Coach.
- Along with Mimy and Flores, ORU returns starters Jakub Grzesiak, Juan Moreno, and Thiago Patto back for the 2024 season.
