#ORUMSOC Vanquishes the Vaqueros, 6-0

The Basics
Score: Oral Roberts 6 – Vaqueros 0
Record:  ORU (3-2-3) –  UTRGV (2-3-1)
Location: Case Soccer Complex

TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's soccer team ended the non-league portion of their 2024 campaign in style scoring three times in each half as they would remain undefeated at the Case with a 6-0 victory.

Benjamin Morgan kicked off the scoring clinic dribbling a Tweneboa Kodua pass across the field and burying his first goal of the season from long range. Enzo Gindro made it a Texas two-step out, leaping the Vaqueros' back line to knock in a header offa Jose Estrada corner kick. Then with minutes left in the half, a brilliant build-up by Aiden Ussery and Jose Estrada set the table for a Damani Harris goal.

In the latter 45 minutes of play, the Golden Eagles kept their foot on the gas as Estrada drew contact in the box and kept ORU perfect in penalty kicks to spoil any hopes of momentum for the away side to go up 4-0.

ORU tacked on two more goals for good measure as Baptiste Boit snuck past UTRGV's defense, placing himself perfectly to take a Nikola Slijivic free kick past the goalie. Omar Mora would conclude the onslaught rebounding a brilliant Luis Flores strike to give ORU its most lopsided result of the year by far
