Huskies vs Golden Eagles
- ORU currently leads the all-time series 6-5-3, and have not lost to HCU at home since September 2, 2013.
- Since their first meeting in 2009, the Golden Eagles are 5-1 when playing the Huskies at home.
- Last year the two squads came away with one point in a 1-1 tie last September in Houston.
Scouting HCU
- After missing the first two matches, Alex Aitken is on the verge of qualifying for league leaderboards, as he would lead the league in save percentage and his 4.5 saves per game would rank second in the OVC. He is currently 10 saves away from tying Christopher Dodd for third place on the all-time HCU leaderboard.
- HCU earned a hard-nosed draw with Omaha on Monday in its most recent outing. After falling behind 2-0 at the break, the Huskies put two on the board in the second half, including an 85th minute penalty equalizer from D'Alessandro Herrera. The level snapped a hard-luck two-game losing skid on the trip for HCU, who fell in a 2-1 decision at Gonzaga and a 1-0 defeat at Drake. All four of HCU's losses thus far have each come by a single goal.
1-2 Combo
- Omar Mora is currently tied for 1st in the Summit Leagues' Total Points (10) and is first on the Total Goals leaderboards (5).
- Luis Flores is currently fourth in Shots on Goal (7) and is ninth in total points (5) on the Â
- Â The two forwards have combined for three braces against #22Â Kentucky (Mora), #24 UCSB (Mora), and Tulsa (Flores).
Milestone Watch

- At the end of this past summer, Brian McCurdy was promoted to Associate Head Coach.
