TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team travels to Pocatello, Idaho to face Idaho State in the second game on the Big Sky/Summit League Challenge.

• ORU defeated Northern Arizona, 83-76, Wednesday night at home in the first game of the Big Sky/Summit League Challenge.
• Issac McBride scored a season-high 28 points and shot 12-for-12 from the free throw line. This was his second consecutive 20-point game and 19th of his career.
• Forward Sam Alajiki scored 15 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
• Senior guard Jalen Miller scored a career-high 14 points, hitting 3-of-4 from behind the arc.
• McBride was named the Summit League Preseason Player of the Year. This is the third time in four years that an ORU player has earned this award.
• On top of his Player of the Year accolade, McBride was also named to the Summit League Preseason First Team, the Bracketeer Preseason All-American Watch List, and the Lou Henson Early Season Watchlist.
• McBride ranks 11th all-time in scoring at ORU with 1,543 points.
• This is the fourth all-time meeting between ORU and ISU. The Golden Eagles are 3-0 against the Bengals. The last meeting between the two programs was back in 1974.
• The Golden Eagles are seeking their first road win of the 2024-25 campaign.
• ORU was picked to finish fifth in the Summit League Preseason Poll.
• The Golden Eagles welcome 10 newcomers (six transfers, four freshmen) to the 2024-25 squad.
• Of the 10 offseason additions, three of them are natives of Oklahoma. Jackson Skipper (Tulsa), Chase Martin (Jenks), and Luke Gray (Edmond) are all local to the Sooner State.
• Russell Springmann enters his second year at the helm for the Golden Eagles. The program went 12-19 in his first year as head coach and lost in the first round of the Summit League tournament.
 
Opponent Information: Idaho State
• Idaho State is 3-5 on the season, coming off an 80-94 loss at South Dakota.
• Redshirt sophomore guard Dylan Darling leads the Bengals in scoring and assists, averaging 13.5 ppg and 5.3 apg.
• The Bengals rank sixth in the country in offensive rebounds per game, averaging 15.5.
• ISU is led by Head Coach Ryan Looney, who posts a 56-102 record in his six seasons with the Bengals.
