#ORUMBB Stumbles in Stillwater

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team fell, 86-74, to the Oklahoma State Cowboys Sunday afternoon in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
 
The Golden Eagles and Cowboys played a back-and-forth game in a first half that saw 10 different lead changes. ORU led 14-12 at the under-8 timeout, but OSU used a 10-0 run in the final 3:30 to take a seven-point lead into the break.
 
ORU battled foul trouble all afternoon, forcing Coach Springmann to rely heavily on his bench. Freshman forward Luke Gray put together a strong performance off the bench, scoring a career-high 12 points, all of which came during the final 20 minutes of play. Veteran guard Issac McBride added 17 points of his own in the second half, but the Cowboys dominance on the glass and ability to get to the free throw line proved too much for the Golden Eagles to overcome.
