COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Golden Eagles earned a historic win on Wednesday night, defeating the Missouri Tigers on the road, 76-63. This win marks the first time in program history that the Golden Eagles have beaten two SEC teams in the same season. Head Coach

th career win between her time at SWOSU and Oral Roberts.

Makyra Tramble led ORU to their eighth win of the season, scoring 24 points on 9-14 shooting, tallying seven assists and three rebounds.
Taleyah Jones followed close behind Tramble, shooting 7-11 from the field while recording three rebounds and three assists.
Emily Robinson had a stellar night as well, coming up just short of a triple-double. Robinson racked up nine points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Â

ORU was off to a hot start in Columbia with help from four early points from
Ruthie Udoumoh. A 6-4 lead with 7:33 to play in the first quickly turned into an 18-8 advantage sparking a Tiger timeout with 3:01 to go in the quarter.
Emily Robinson dished out four assists in the first, setting up
Ruthie Udoumoh and
Taleyah Jones for success. Jones and Udoumoh and Robinson recorded six, seven and six points in the quarter, respectively. The Golden Eagles earned a 23-14 lead heading into the second quarter of action.
Makyra Tramble caught fire in the second, making two triples while
Taleyah Jones tacked on another three to the stat sheet. Missouri cut the nine-point first quarter lead to one with 3:52 to play in the half, outscoring the Golden Eagles 17-13 heading into the break. ORU held the Tigers to zero three pointers (0-5) in the first half and it was the difference in the game leading up to halftime.

Coming out of the locker room,
Makyra Tramble made a layup followed by an
Emily Robinson block on the other side that led to a
Taleyah Jones triple and a Missouri timeout. With momentum in ORU's favor with 8:55 left the third quarter, the Golden Eagles and Tigers seemed to trade baskets for the rest of the third. The Golden Eagles were outscored by Missouri (20-21) in the quarter but a
Makyra Tramble and-one three to beat the buzzer helped ORU hold on to a 56-52 lead going into the fourth.
The Golden Eagles dominated the Tigers in the final quarter, holding them to just 5-20 (25%) shooting from the field while also winning the rebounding battle 12-7.
Emily Robinson hit a three to open the quarter followed up by a 7-0 ORU run to extend their lead to 11 (70-59) with 3:44 to play. Back-to-back layups from
Ruthie Udoumoh sealed the deal for the Golden Eagles, as they picked up their first win over Missouri in program history.

Oral Roberts: Makyra Tramble scored a career-high 24 points, making a career-high five threes in the process. Tramble also grabbed three rebounds while recording a career-high in assists, with seven. Her nine field goals made is also a career-high.

Missouri: Laniah Randle scored 21 points on 10-15 shooting to go along with six rebounds and three steals.
