TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team hosts Ozark Christian in their 2024-25 home opener on Friday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m inside the Mabee Center

• ORU suffered an 80-57 setback in its season opener at Minnesota.
• Star guard Issac McBride scored a team-high 15 points while adding 3 rebounds and 2 steals.
• Drake transfer Carlos Rosario also reached double-digit scoring pouring in 12 points on 50 percent shooting.
• ORU battled on the boards outrebounding Minnesota 33-32.
• McBride was named the Summit League Preseason Player of the Year. This is the third time in four years that an ORU player has earned this award.
• On top of his Player of the Year accolade, McBride was also named to the Summit League Preseason First Team as well as the Bracketeer Preseason All-American Watch List.
• McBride currently ranks 14th all-time at ORU in scoring with 1,412 points in 97 games played.

•        This will be the third matchup all-time between ORU and Ozark Christian. 
•        The Golden Eagles are 2-0 after beating the Ambassadors in 2022 and 2023 and scored over 100 points in both games.
•        Ozark Christian is 2-0 on the year with wins over Spurgeon College and Southwestern Adventist Univeristy.
•        The Ambassadors are led by Head Coach Chris Lahm.
