TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's tennis team fell to Tulsa, 7-0, in their season opener Friday afternoon in the Case Tennis Center.

"We were happy to get back on the court for a match today," said Head Coach Mark Milner. "The ladies competed hard, and had a lot of really good moments, but Tulsa is very tough team so hats off to them. We're excited to play indoors against Central Arkansas tomorrow night at Southern Hills Country Club"

The match opened with doubles play as Tulsa claimed each match. Reagan Miley and Sasha Lebedeva won three sets in their matchup against Myroslava Zelenchuk and Saniya Singh.

Arina Sorokina, Zere Iskakova, and Lebedeva all battled in singles play putting up fights against the Golden Hurricane. Sorokina won the most sets out of any Golden Eagle as she fell 7-5, 6-3 to Tulsa's Lily Hutchhings.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles are back in action tomorrow as they host Central Arkansas at Southern Hills Country Club at 7 p.m.
