TULSA, Okla. – The No. 18 ranked Oral Roberts men's soccer team went to St. Paul, Minnesota, to face the St. Thomas Tommies Wednesday afternoon and ended the match in a 1-1 draw.
The Golden Eagles held the Tommies to just two shots in the first half, while getting off five, despite not having any on goal. With less than a minute left on the clock, St. Thomas took a 1-0 lead. Dennis Mensah Jr. scored a header goal to the right side of the net on a cross by Steevie Lamarre.
In the second half, ORU out-shot St. Thomas, 5-2, and had four of those on goal. In the 75
th minute,
Thiago Patto scored his third goal of the season that tied the match, 1-1.
Damani Harris started the play and sent the ball in to Patto who leveled the match.
