GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team fell to North Dakota 3-2 in a back and forth match on Friday afternoon in Grand Forks.

ORU opened the scoring within the first eight minutes of the match as Samantha See found Kristi Keller posted up on a defender deep inside the box. Keller gathered the pass, turned, and fired it off of her left foot into the top left corner of the net to give the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead.

The Fighting Hawks would respond however, as they went on to score three goals by three different players between the 28th and 60th minute mark.
ORU continued to put up a fight. Defender Gabrielle Abbey earned a penalty kick in the 72nd minute after she was fouled inside the box. Abbey calmly walked up to the ball and put it away to notch her team leading fifth goal of the season.

The Golden Eagles kept UND on their heels until the final whistle. Jordan Grigsby and Kristi Keller gave ORU two great looks at the goal in the final minutes, but both shots hit off the top and left crossbars. The Fighting Hawks would go on to win 3-2.
