• The Golden Eagles extended their win streak to a season-best three games after defeating Denver, 93-83, Thursday evening.
• Hannah Cooper led ORU with 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting and has now reached double-figures in 20 of the 21 contests this season. Entering the weekend, the senior leads the Summit League in free throws made (117), free throws attempted (142), minutes per game (36.1), total points (422), steals (46) and steals per game (2.2).
• At the national level, Cooper ranks seventh in free throws made, eighth in free throw attempts, 10th in total points, 20th in points per game (20.1), 24th in minutes per game and 25th in field goals made (145).
• Tirzah Moore, the reigning Summit League Peak Performer of the Week, notched her third straight double-double in the win after finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds. On the year, Moore leads the league in double-doubles (11), field goal percentage (63.4), defensive rebounds per game (7.7) and rebounds per game (11.1).
• Nationally, Moore ranks seventh in field goal percentage, 10th in rebounds per game, 13th in defensive rebounds per game and 14th in double-doubles.Â
• Sharpshooter Delaney Nix continues to be one of the top three-point shooters in the Summit League as the senior leads the conference with 53 on the season, which ranks 32nd nationally.
• Guard Ariel Walker is coming off a career-high 24 points in the win against Denver and has reached double-figures in three of the last five contests.
• As a team, ORU tops the Summit League with a 77.1 free throw percentage.
• The Golden Eagles' high-powered offense leads the conference and ranks among the nation's best as they sit 30th in the country, averaging 77.0 points per game.Â
• ORU faced a difficult non-conference slate that featured three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.Â
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• In her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 268-137 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.
Inside the Matchup
• Saturday's contest marks the 18th meeting all-time between ORU and Omaha.Â
• The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series, 14-3, and have won four straight against the Mavericks. At Omaha, the Golden Eagles are 6-1 all-time.Â
• In the first meeting between the two squads, ORU came away with a 75-63 win behind 19 points from Hannah Cooper.
• The Mavericks enter Saturday's meeting with a 9-12 record and have lost three straight. Elena Pilakouta leads the charge for Omaha with 13.6 points per game.
