ST. PAUL, Minn. – Fresh off their first Summit League road win of the season, the Oral Roberts women's basketball team travels to face St. Thomas Saturday, January 13 at 1 p.m. inside Schoenecker Arena.

• ORU defeated Western Illinois, 94-90, Thursday night behind a career-high tying 23 points from Ariel Walker. A season-high five Golden Eagles reached double-figures in the victory.
• In the win, Preseason All-Summit League First Team selection Tirzah Moore registered her third straight double-double and pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds. The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, native became the first Golden Eagle to record 20 boards since Faith Ihim in 2018.
• Hannah Cooper, the reigning Summit League Peak Performer of the Month, enters Saturday's contest ranked inside the top 3 in 13 different statistical categories and leads the conference in assists (74), assists per game (4.4), free throws made (93), minutes per game (35.9), steals (37) and steals per game (2.2).
• At the national level, Cooper ranks sixth in free throws made, 14th in free throw attempts (110), 15th in total points (331), 23rd in points per game (19.5) and 26th in minutes per game. The senior's scoring increase of 13.0 points per game ranks third nationally.
• Moore continues to sit atop the conference in double-doubles (8), field goal percentage (60.7), defensive rebounds per game (7.8) and rebounds per game (11.5).
• Nationally, the sophomore ranks eighth in rebounds per game, 10th in defensive rebounds per game, 16th in field goal percentage, 20th in double-doubles and 29th in offensive rebounds per game (3.8).
• The Golden Eagles continue to lead the Summit League and rank inside the top 50 nationally in scoring offense, averaging 75.2 points per game.
• ORU is coming off a difficult non-conference slate that featured three 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, four Power 5 opponents and seven road contests.Â
• The Golden Eagles are led by head coach Kelsi Musick, who enters her first season at the helm. Musick and her staff returned six players from last season's squad and welcomed eight newcomers, three freshmen and five transfers, in the offseason.
• In her 14th season as a head coach, Musick holds a 265-136 career record.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golden Eagles were selected to finish third.
Inside the Matchup
• Saturday's contest marks the third meeting all-time between ORU and St. Thomas.
• The Golden Eagles claimed both meetings last season, including an overtime victory in St. Paul, Minn.
• Maggie Negard (11.5) and Preseason All-Summit League Second Team selection Jade Hill (10.5) are the lone Tommies averaging double-figures on the year.
• St. Thomas improved to 6-11 on the season and 1-6 in league play after defeating Kansas City on Thursday.
• In the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Tommies were picked to finish ninth.
