TULSA, Okla. – The ORU women's soccer team opened the 2022 regular season with a 4-0 win at home over The University of Texas A&M at Commerce on Thursday evening.

Julia Thasaphong scored the first goal of the night for ORU in the 13^th minute. Abril Lucio was credited with the assist.

Kennedy Langebartels recorded her first goal of the season when she scored with just under 8 minutes remaining in the first half. Samantha Guzman earned the assist.

Within 5 minutes, Samantha Guzman recorded a goal of her own. Guzman recorded a goal and an assist all in 5 minutes. Iris Embla Gissuradottir and Annaliese Giusto each received the assist for Guzman's goal.

The lone goal of the second half came at the 58 minute mark when Abril Lucio netted her first goal of the season. Julia Thasaphong recording the assist for Lucio's goal.
