SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team sees its Summit League Tournament run end after a 92-72 loss in the semifinal game Monday evening in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Max Abmas scored 28 points for his 27
th consecutive double-digit game Monday. Abmas led all scorers going 11-for-23 from the field. He went 4-for-10 from the three-point line as well.
Issac McBride also had a double-digit night with 19 points. It was McBride's 16
th-straight game scoring in double figures.
North Dakota State came out hot jumping out to a 10 point lead in the first five minutes of the contest. After trailing by as much as 19 with nine minutes left in the first half, the Golden Eagles managed to cut the deficit to eight, four minutes later. The Bison went back up by 14, but ORU wouldn't be denied as the team made it a seven point game with 31 seconds left in the half. NDSU's Sam Griesel hit a jumper at the buzzer to make it a 48-39 halftime advantage.
Down the stretch in the second half, North Dakota State led by as much as 30 with 3:33 to play. A 10-2 run at the end for ORU made the 92-72 deciding factor. Griesel, an All-Summit League First Teamer, scored 26 points in the game. Grant Nelson also had a 20 point night for the Bison.
Individual Leaders
Oral Roberts: Abmas scored 28 points and
Francis Lacis grabbed 10 rebounds.
Western Illinois: Griesel secured 26 points and nine rebounds.

- The Golden Eagles scored 30 points in the paint compared NDSU's 58. ORU's bench production secured 22 points.
- ORU 35.6 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from beyond the arc.
- NDSU shot 60.3 percent overall and 41.7 percent from long range.
