TULSA, Okla. – Two of the nation's best offenses square off Thursday, February 24 as the Oral Roberts men's basketball team takes on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits at 7 p.m. inside the Mabee Center.

It is jersey and sneaker night at the Mabee Center. There will be a jersey giveaway and fans are ask to wear their best sneakers to the game. There is a buy one, get one tickets to the game. Max Abmas continues to the lead the Golden Eagles in scoring as he's now had 23 consecutive games with 10-plus points. He had 18 points at UND. Five Golden Eagles scored in double-figures at North Dakota.
 
• Abmas (22.6 ppg), Issac McBride (11.8 ppg) average double figures to lead the Golden Eagles offense, which ranks 5th in the NCAA at 83.0 points per game. ORU has eight players who have scored 100-plus points this season.
 
• Behind two 38-point outings this season, Abmas now ranks 5th in the nation in points per game and is 3rd the country making 3.92 3-pointers a game. The junior recently moved past Eric Perry (1996-2000) for fifth in program history in career triples and has 289 in his tenure. He is currently 10th all-time in scoring with 1,721 career points.
 
• ORU is hitting 11.8 triples per game, which is 3rd in the nation, thanks to a school-record 21 against Southwestern Christian and 19 versus Tulsa. The team has made double-digit 3-pointers in 19 of 25 outings this season.
 
• The Golden Eagles currently rank 15th in the NCAA pulling down 40.2 rebounds a contest and 4th in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (29.3).

Scouting the Opponent
 • This will be the 29th all-time meeting between ORU and South Dakota State. The Golden Eagles trail in the series, 11-18, and are 7-6 at home. In the first meeting this season, ORU fell to the Jackrabbits, 82-76, on the road in Brookings, South Dakota.
 
• South Dakota State is undefeated in Summit League play at 16-0. The Jackrabbits have locked in the regular season championship and the No. 1 seed in the Summit League tournament.
 
• SDSU has three players averaging double-digits with Baylor Scheierman and Douglas Wilson scoring 15.5 points per game and Noah Freidel averaging 15.1 points per game. The team leads the nation in three-point field goal percentage and No. 2 in scoring offense and field-goal percentage. Scheierman ranks No. 7 nationally in defensive rebounds per game.
