TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team heads north to Fargo, North Dakota, to battle the North Dakota State Bison Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. inside the Scheels Center.

• Max Abmas continues to the lead the Golden Eagles in scoring as he's now had 21 consecutive games with 10-plus points. He led ORU with 19 points against Kansas City. Elijah Lufile scored 17 points and grabbed a career high 15 rebounds for a back-to-back double-double against the Roos. It was his third of the season.
 
• Abmas (22.8 ppg), Issac McBride (11.3 ppg) average double figures to lead the Golden Eagles offense, which ranks 5th in the NCAA at 83.8 points per game. ORU has eight players who have scored 100-plus points this season.
 
• Behind two 38-point outings this season, Abmas now ranks 5th in the nation in points per game and is 2nd the country making 4.12 3-pointers a game. The junior recently moved past Eric Perry (1996-2000) for fifth in program history in career triples and has 286 in his tenure. He is currently 10th all-time in scoring with 1,682 career points.
 
• ORU is hitting 12.2 triples per game, which is 2nd in the nation, thanks to a school-record 21 against Southwestern Christian and 19 versus Tulsa. The team has made double-digit 3-pointers in 19 of 25 outings this season.
 
• The Golden Eagles currently rank 11th in the NCAA pulling down 40.8 rebounds a contest and 4th in the nation in defensive rebounds per game (29.6).


Scouting the Opponent
 
• This will be the 34th all-time meeting between ORU and North Dakota State. The Golden Eagles trail in the series, 15-18, and are 3-11 on the road. In the first meeting this season, NDSU narrowly won, 72-71, at the Mabee Center.
 
• The Bison are on a five game winning streak that included a double overtime victory at Western Illinois. NDSU sits third, one game behind ORU in the current Summit League standings.
 
• NDSU has four players averaging double-digits with Rocky Kreuser leading the way (16.3 ppg.). Sam Griesel (13.0 ppg.), Grant Nelson (11.3 ppg.) and Tyree Eady (10.7 ppg.) round out the scoring efforts. The team is 9th in the nation in free-throws made.
