TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team will play its third consecutive home game Friday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. against Northern Kentucky at the Case Soccer Complex.

Quick Hits

• Last season, the Golden Eagles went 8-4-1, 6-3-1 on the season to finish third in the Summit League.
   
• ORU is currently 1-1 on the season after losing to No. 16 Loyola Marymount, 3-1, and defeating UTRGV, 2-1, in week one.
   
• Reed Berry and Dante Brigida were named Summit League preseason Players to Watch.
   
• Dante Brigida was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week after scoring two goals in week one. He currently leads the league in goals scored.
   
• ORU returns six of its All-Summit League Team members from 2020 which includes, Juan Arias, Reed Berry, Dante Brigida, Francisco Lopez, Miles Motakef and Josselyn Petel. Brigida was named Summit League Offensive Player of the Year in 2020.
   
• The Golden Eagles were picked second in the Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll along with one first place vote.
   
• Head Coach Ryan Bush is back for his ninth season at the helm for the Golden Eagles. After five seasons, Bush has a 59-60-17 record at ORU as the men's soccer coach. Coach Bush was named 2019 Summit League Coach of the Year.
   
• Overall, the Golden Eagles returned 19 players and added 15 newcomers to the 2021 squad.
   

Opponent Information

• The Norse are 1-1 on the season after suffering a season opening loss, 2-0, at UNC Asheville, and beating Centre College, 3-0, in game two. NKU was picked to finish fourth in the Horizon League Preseason Poll.
   
• It will be the second all-time meeting between the two teams. ORU holds the series lead, 1-0, after the team's first met in 2019. The Golden Eagles beat the Norse, 5-2, in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
