TULSA, Okla.  – The Oral Roberts women's soccer team had an offensive explosion on senior night, winning 4-2 over Kansas City at the Case Soccer Complex.

Four different Golden Eagles notched goals in the first half of action with Pamela Caballeros, Ashlyn Williams, Sami See, and Mia Kitterman all getting in on the action.

Kansas City took an early 1-0 advantage with a goal in the seventh minute. The senior Caballeros opened the scoring for ORU with a rocket from just inside the 18'.

Following the equalizer, the Golden Eagles would rattle off three more unanswered goals. Mia Kitterman used some fancy footwork to beat the Kansas City keeper and picked up her first goal of the season. Ashlyn Williams picked up the first assist of her collegiate career on Kitterman's goal.

Williams wasted no time picking up a second assist, alongside Christa Van Loon, as Samantha See found the back of the net on a header. In the 40^th minute, Williams picked up her first collegiate goal, while Kennedy Langebartels notched her first career assist.

Just before the close of the half, Kansas City found the back of the net for the second time, bringing the Golden Eagles lead to two.

Neither team scored in the second half and the Golden Eagles picked up their first win of the 2020 season, 4-2.

Notables

• ORU honored their nine seniors (Shayla Padilla, Drishana Pillay, Emma Foster, Jessica Misquez, Baye Mayberry, Rachael Baker, Brianna McGowan, Pamela Caballeros, and Ellie Chapple) after the victory.
• The four goals marked a season-high for the Golden Eagles.
• Williams picked up the first collegiate goal in the 40^th minute.
• Williams also notched the first two assists of her career in the game as well.
• Langebartels also notched her first collegiate assist.
• Louisa Ramsauer, Michaela Johnson, and Gabrielle Abbey all logged the full 90 minutes of action.

Up Next
ORU will return to Tulsa on Friday, March 19 to take on Western Illinois in a Summit League matchup. The two teams will also meet at the Case Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon.
