NORMAL, Ill. - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 dual at Illinois State Friday afternoon in Normal, Illinois.  
 
The Golden Eagles dropped the doubles point and fell 0-1 leading into singles play.
 
Volodymyr Zakharov claimed the first point for ORU at No. 1 singles after falling in set one, 1-6. Zakharov fought back to win set two, 6-4, and a 6-0 shutout set three victory. Marcello Moreira earned the second Golden Eagle point. Moreira fell 4-6 in set one, but came back to win set two, 6-2, and set three, 6-4.
 
Up Next: ORU will close out the regular season at Omaha Saturday, April 23 at 11 a.m.
