TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's basketball team begins the second half of The Summit League schedule on the road at North Dakota State for two games at Scheels Center Feb. 5 and 6.

Scouting the Opponent
• The Golden Eagles are 13-16 all-time against the Bison dating back to 1968, but have dropped two straight, including a 75-69 setback in last year's Summit League semifinal. NDSU has won six-consecutive games over ORU in Fargo and nine of the last 11 meetings overall.
• NDSU split a weekend series at Kansas City winning Friday night 71-67 before suffering a 49-47 loss Saturday moving to 8-2 in league play. The Bison remain unbeaten at home this season at 4-0.
• The Bison are one of the top rebounding teams in the nation ranking 28th in rebound margin at +6.7 as three players all have more than 100 rebounds. Rocky Kreuser leads NDSU in scoring and rebounding as he averages 14.9 ppg and 7.2 rpg, while Tyree Eady and Sam Griesel also post double-digit points and at least six rebounds a contest.

• ORU overcame a double-digit deficit in the second half to take down Kansas City winning its fourth-straight game Jan. 23 before needing another late rally Jan. 24 that fell short to split the weekend.
Max Abmas led the team in scoring both games averaging 22.5 ppg, while
RJ Glasper (14.5) and
Kevin Obanor (12.5) also tallied double-digit scoring for the week.
• The Golden Eagles rank third in the NCAA hitting 11.2 3-pointers per contest, led by Abmas, who moved up to seventh in the country making 3.4 per game.
• Abmas sits ninth nationally in scoring averaging 21.6 points per game, while Obanor is 47th at 19.1 ppg and Glasper jumped to 11.4 ppg. The trio has helped the Golden Eagles to the best scoring offense in the conference posting 81.5 ppg, which is 25th in the NCAA.
• ORU remains one of the best free-throw shooting teams in the nation hitting 79.2 percent of its attempts to rank 11th overall and the top in The Summit League this season.
• Obanor has pulled down a league-leading 142 rebounds this season to rank 27th in total boards, while his seven double-doubles are 12th in the country.
• ORU was picked to finish second in The Summit League Preseason Poll behind only defending regular season co-champion South Dakota State.
• The Golden Eagles have eight new faces for 2020-21 with two grad transfers (
RJ Glasper,
Justin Lovvorn), two junior college transfers (
Sheldon Stevens,
Kareem Thompson) and four freshmen (
Jonathan Alexandre,
Jamie Bergens,
Nate Clover III,
Ismael Plet).
