DENVER, Colo. – Oral Roberts women's soccer team (0-2, 0-1 SL) opened Summit League play on Friday evening with a road contest against the Denver Pioneers (3-1, 3-0 SL). The defending conference champions blanked the Golden Eagles 3-0 on

The Pioneers jumped out to a 1-0 advantage with a goal from the left side in the eighth minute. ORU locked down Denver for the remainder of the half, negating several scoring opportunities.

Denver launched a pair of shots into the Golden Eagle net within the first six minutes of the second half.

22 different Golden Eagles saw action in the Rocky Mountain matchup, including a team-high 90 minutes from Louisa Ramsauer and 81 minutes from Michaela Johnson.
 
Notables

• Kylie Cornett made her collegiate debut for the Golden Eagles, logging nine minutes of action.
• Samantha See led ORU with a pair of shots in 40 minutes of action.
• Denver did not allow the Golden Eagles to land a shot on net, outshooting ORU 19-4. 
• The Pioneers have not allowed a goal in their first 270 minutes of Summit League play.
