TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts women's basketball team will travel to the Rocky Mountains for a two game series against the Denver Pioneers January 15 and 16 inside Hamilton Gymnasium. Both games are set for 4 p.m. CST/ 3 p.m. MST.

Due to COVID-19, the University of Denver will not allow fans to attend games at Hamilton Gymnasium.

About the Opponent

• This will be the 13^th all-time meeting between ORU and Denver. The Pioneers are 2-8, 0-2 on the season and are coming off an 87-47 loss at South Dakota in game one and a 89-74 loss in game two.
   
• Last season, the Golden Eagles split the regular season series with Denver with a 84-72 win at home and a 91-79 loss in Denver, Colorado.
   
• Denver is 2-4 all-time against ORU in Denver, Colorado. ORU has not beaten the Pioneers on the road since the 2016-17 season.

• ORU will face Denver for the second Summit League series of the 2020-21 season. The Golden Eagles are coming off a 2-0 start to league play after wins over North Dakota at home.
   
• The Golden Eagles have yet to win a road game this season and are currently 0-6.

• Senior Keni Jo Lippe was named to the preseason All-Summit League First Team. She averages 12.6 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds. She currently has 1,321 career points and is the 21^st member of the ORU women's basketball 1,000-point club.
   
• Regan Schumacher is currently second in the Summit League in rebounds per game. She totals 95 rebounds on the season  and averages 9.5 per game.
   
• ORU adds 12 newcomers to the roster. Eight freshmen, Corrie Anderson, Tierney Coleman, Tyaija Coleman, Hannah Giddey, Camryn Hill, Courtlyn Loudermill, Addisyn Moore and Faith Paramore. Two sophomores, Sinetra Jones and Bo Teulings. A junior, Ariel Walker, and a redshirt senior, Manaya Jones.
   
• The Golden Eagles are one of the youngest teams in Division I with eight true freshman and the average age of 19.3. Eleven of the 16 players on the roster have zero years of Division I experience, until this season.
   
• Head Coach Misti Cussen is in her ninth season at the helm for the Golden Eagles and holds a 128-128 overall head coaching record. Under the direction of Coach Cussen, the Golden Eagles are 42-0 when scoring 80 or more points in a game.
   
• ORU was picked to finish fourth in Summit League Preseason Poll.
