About the Opponent
- This will be the seventh all-time meeting between ORU and Missouri. The Tigers are 2-1 on the season and are coming off an 84-45 win over New Orleans.
- In their last meeting, the Tigers defeated the Golden Eagles, 86-64, on December 4, 2013, in Columbia, Missouri.

- ORU will face Missouri for the first time since 2013. This will be the second meeting this season against an SEC opponent.
- It will be the fifth game this season against a Power 5 opponent.
- The Golden Eagles are currently on a two-game winning streak, but have yet to get a road win. ORU is 27th in the nation in total rebounds.
- A win for the Golden Eagles would give the program its first win over a Power 5 opponent since the 2016-17 season and the first win over Missouri.
- Senior Keni Jo Lippe was named to the preseason All-Summit League First Team. She averages 7.3 points per game along with 4.3 rebounds. As a junior, she totaled 575 points. She currently has 1,255 career points and is the 21st member of the ORU women's basketball 1,000-point club.
- Regan Schumacher currently leads the Summit League in total rebounds with 65 so far this season and is 8th in the nation.
- ORU adds 12 newcomers to the roster. Eight freshmen, Corrie Anderson, Tierney Coleman, Tyaija Coleman, Hannah Giddey, Camryn Hill, Courtlyn Loudermill, Addisyn Moore and Faith Paramore. Two sophomores, Sinetra Jones and Bo Teulings. A junior, Ariel Walker, and a redshirt senior, Manaya Jones.
- The Golden Eagles are one of the youngest teams in Division I with eight true freshman and the average age of 19.3. Eleven of the 16 players on the roster have zero years of Division I experience, until this season.
- Head Coach Misti Cussen is in her ninth season at the helm for the Golden Eagles and holds a 126-126 overall head coaching record.
- ORU was picked to finish fourth in Summit League Preseason Poll.
