OMAHA, Neb. - The Oral Roberts women's tennis fell short to the Omaha Mavericks, 4-3, in Summit League play in Omaha, Nebraska.

Although the Golden Eagles did not win the doubles point, Andrea Vasiljevic and Rai Sengupta won their doubles match at the No. 2 spot, 6-4.

Vasiljevic also won her singles match at the No. 5 position, 6-1, 6-2, to kick start singles play for ORU. Valentina Gisbert claimed the next point for the Golden Eagles winning 6-1, 6-4, at the No. 6 singles spot. Ceijenia Cornelius scored the third team point for ORU at the No. 1 position with a 6-3, 6-3 win.

Up Next: ORU will take on South Dakota Saturday, March 30 at 4:30 p.m. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
