TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team grabbed a 4-3 win over Illinois State Saturday afternoon at the ONEOK Sports Complex on Senior Day.

The Golden Eagles claimed the doubles point in today's match to take an early 1-0 lead. Marcello Moreira and Andrew Guymon finished at the No. 2 doubles spot with a 6-3 win. Alvaro Santamaria and Eddy Leardini finished doubles play with a 7-5 win at the No. 3 spot. 

Senior Jan Pehnec grabbed 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 win at the No. 2 singles position. Moreira had a 6-1, 6-3 decision at the No. 4 singles spot and Leardini was victorious at the No. 5 spot with a 7-5, 6-3 win.

The Golden Eagles honored seniors Jan Pehnec and Alvaro Santamaria before they competed in their last career home match.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles will face South Dakota State on Saturday April 21 at 6:30 p.m. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
