BEAUMONT, Texas - The Oral Roberts men's tennis team opened the 2018 season with a 4-1 win over Prairie View A&M Sunday afternoon in Beaumont, Texas.

ORU claimed the doubles point Sunday afternoon after grabbing wins in the No. 1 and 3 spots. Kenneth Boykin and Jan Pehnec won in a close 6-4 doubles match to score the point for the Golden Eagles. Kenneth Boykin, Alvaro Santamaria and Eddy Leardini all grabbed wins in singles matches to seal the match for ORU. 

Up Next: The Golden Eagles will face Abilene Christian Saturday February 3 at 9 a.m. in Abilene, Texas.
